Parents Support Group

  • Factory Quarter Community Hub Unit 3, Warple Way London, England, W3 7DQ United Kingdom (map)

Meet other parents and empower each other through peer support.

Becoming a new parent is a life-changing experience. It can feel magical as well as overwhelming sometimes.

This is why Anna, a local midwife is setting up this Parents Support Group. Come meet other local parents to spend some time together, share experiences and empower each other.

Anna and the Factory Quarter Community Hub promise you a welcoming and safe space for new parents to drop-in when you wish. As a qualified midwife, Anna will be able to sign post you to local services if need be. However please note that personal medical advice will not be provided.
The Factory Quarter Community Hub is also a breastfeeding friendly environment.
Come with or without baby/kids. The Hub has a play area and a plant-based cafe for you to enjoy a nice cuppa.

Who’s it for?

  • Great for families with babies aged newborn up to 6 months old.

  • Ideal for new parents who may be feeling isolated or lonely.

This Parents Support Group session is free and will be facilitated by local midwife, Anna Merrick.
Please register your interest by booking your free ticket below.

Facilitator: Anna Merrick - Midwife

My name is Anna and I’m a midwife living in the FQ. I moved to London in 2014 to start my midwifery training, and have been working as a qualified midwife and living in West London since 2017. After I qualified, I spent a few years working as a community midwife in the local areas, so I know the facilities and services available to families here well. I am experienced in providing feeding support and compassionate postnatal care to new families. I really value the importance of holding a calm and gentle space to support the emotional and physical wellbeing of new parents, and am really excited to help facilitate this sort of environment for residents of the FQ.
